We are a traditionally run Social 'Club' within the community of Barnby Dun, the Club is primarily about improving the lives of the members and their guests, providing opportunities for them to take up interesting hobbies, and generally to be involved with the local residents for the good of the environment. We have thriving sections devoted to sport including :-  Football, Snooker, Angling, Darts, Dominoes. Also meeting at our venue are a Model Plane flying Club, the local branch of R.A.O.B. a charitable organisation which does splendid work supporting many good and worthy causes. We provide entertainment in the form of vocal entertainers on Wednesday, and Country and Western acts every Saturday nights. There is also a speciality 'Turn' more suited to the younger element on the last Friday of each month. The ladies section meet each Thursday evening to play bingo, with a raffle, and they organise various outings throughout the year. We have a good sized games room in which we have two snooker tables, a pool table, a dart board, and the facility for the playing of other board games. Sky TV is installed and we cover all the major sporting events and football matches etc. We are open from 11 am every morning till 11pm, 11.30pm on Fridays, and from 12 noon on Sundays till 11pm. You will be very welcome to come and join and take part in any of our activities, or indeed start new initiatives. You won't know until you try it. We are very close to all Doncaster amenities such as the Doncaster Dome sporting complex, Doncaster Race course and Doncaster Rovers football club, and make an ideal stop off point for refreshments, coach parties are very welcome by prior arrangement. The club is well equipped to cater for disabled visitors and has a large enclosed car park area. Buffet meals can be arranged if required.We stock Worthington,Stones and London Pride beers. Carling, Carling Premier lagers, Guinness, Strongbow cider, John Smiths and Tetley bitter,fine wines plus many more refreshments to your taste.

People
Our Secretary is Mr A Rollin, who deals with all secretarial duties relating to the club, Mr J Bellamy is our President with overall responsibility of the general well being of the Club and members, and Mr D Cannon is our hard working treasurer with responsibilty obviously for our day to day finances. 

The Club

The club began its life in July 1907, and celebrated its centenary in July 2007. It continues its aim to provide members and guests with convivial surroundings in which to meet, and to pursue their own interests, and share in the interests of other like minded people.
